A thrilling encounter unfolded in the U16 Division 1 League Final, where our lads gave everything in a fiercely contested battle. Unfortunately, it just wasn't to be on the evening, as Castledermot edged us out in the dying moments to claim the title.

Despite the narrow defeat, our boys can hold their heads high. They delivered a performance full of heart, determination, and skill, keeping supporters on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. On a drizzly evening in Sarsfields GAA, both teams served up an outstanding game of football, showcasing the very best of underage talent in the county.

We’re incredibly proud of this group—their progress, resilience, and unity throughout the campaign have been outstanding. A massive thank you to the players, management team, and all the parents and supporters who turned out to cheer them on, rain and all.
