A bit of history in last week’s C team clash as Cathal Carr togged out alongside his son Charlie — their first time lining out together at senior level. A proud moment for the Carr household and for Raheens GAA/LGFA.

Cathal, a seasoned campaigner, showed there’s still plenty left in the tank.

Charlie brought youthful energy to the mix — and by all accounts wasn’t shy about telling the old lad to “track back”.

With TJ and Danny Carr still underage but edging closer to senior eligibility, there’s whispers of a Carr quartet lining out in the not-so-distant future. Cathal better get on the ice baths early...
